Drive-On Splicer

SPLICE PIPE PILING WITHOUT DOWN-TIME FOR WELDING
COMPARE THE ADVANCE SPLICER TO BUTT WELDING

The internal taper of the sleeve swages the pipe into a tight friction joint, bearing on a square shoulder ledge. Hammer blows force both ends of pipe into compression in the taper creating a dependable splice with adequate lateral strength. There is no production delay with the use of the splicer. It can be placed on the driven pile faster than the next length can be picked up. Easy starting is assured by the taper; even a hammered end slips quickly into the sleeve.

Driving can be done on the Splicer. This is especially advantageous on thin wall pipe, where the sleeve acts as a driving head to reduce crippling.

The Drive-on Splicer is a proven economy on the job, adding many piles per day to production.

Cut costs and speed installation by eliminating non-productive time of butt welding pipe piles.

Taper provides for quick positioning of next length and then forces a tight friction fit for any size of pipe.
